The PS2 Profile sander is a 220 Volt Single Phase workhorse. Features include two brush sanding stations which can be used by two operators at the same time. The machine is a variable speed (RPM) brush sander, which can be used to sand a variety of shapes and profiles. The brush can be used to gently round edges or, with the correct abrasives and machine settings, actually round edges. Scuff sanding a finish coat is a natural application. The benefit of brush sanding raw wood is that the brushes will remove much of the loose fibers in the raw state and open pores for uniform finish penetration. Many variations of abrasives (grit, length, etc.) and machine settings are possible for an extremely wide array of applications.

What are the conditions of machines sold at the Outlet Store?
Our machines are categorized as follows:
  • Boxed: Slight external damage to the container/box. Machine is still new.
  • Assembled: Box was damaged beyond repair, so the machine was removed and fully assembled.
  • Refurbished: Customer return, inspected, repaired if required, and assembled.
Most of our "Classical Machines" are new and sold as 'Boxed' or 'Assembled'.
Do outlet machines come with a warranty?

Yes!

Laguna Tools Outlet Store woodworking machines carry a six (6) month warranty, while CNC and Laser machines carry a 1-year warranty, effective from the date of shipping. 
Can I expect cosmetic damage on outlet machines?

Yes, it is possible. Since these are outlet machines, minor dents, dings, scratches, or rust may be present, especially on assembled or refurbished units.
These cosmetic imperfections do not affect machine performance.

Why are these machines in the outlet store?
Outlet machines could be there for several reasons:
  • Damage to the original packaging
  • Customer returns
  • Refurbished units
  • Inventory turnover
There is no new model replacement implied
Can I get a discount or refund if the machine has cosmetic damage?

No. Outlet pricing already reflects the condition of the machines, including any cosmetic imperfections. We do not offer additional discounts or refunds for cosmetic issues. However, functional issues are covered under the 6-month warranty.

What should I do if my machine arrives damaged from shipping?
  • If damage is from shipping, please contact the carrier to start a claim.
  • Document the damage with pictures.
  • Contact the Outlet Store Manager if any parts affecting function need replacement. We can assist with replacements but not for cosmetic issues.
Is sales tax charged on outlet purchases?

Sales tax is applied unless you provide a valid tax exemption certificate or resale certificate.
Please email your Tax ID to the Outlet team before completing the purchase.

Is the website inventory up-to-date?

The Outlet inventory changes daily and the website may not always reflect real-time stock. It’s best to call or email the Outlet Store directly for current availability.

Does the warranty cover replacement of missing parts?

If missing parts affect the function of the machine, they are covered. Cosmetic or non-essential parts (e.g., manual, knobs) may not be replaced. Contact us with specific issues.

Can I get information about the motor manufacturer of a machine?

We may not always have detailed specs like motor manufacturer available for outlet units. Please inquire, but availability of that info is not guaranteed.
